By purchasing services, booking session, or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

1. GENERAL USE OF WEBSITE

   • This website and its content are owned and operated by Alyxonfire.

   • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

   • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.

2. SERVICES

   • Services provided include music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and related services.

3. PAYMENTS

   • 100% upfront payment of the agreed fee is required before any work begins. Payments will be made via Wise, either via an invoice or a payment request.

4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

   • Payments are non-refundable once the invoice has been paid, except where I cancel or am unable to deliver the agreed services, in which case you will receive a refund or a rescheduled date. Sessions, including virtual sessions, may be rescheduled by the client.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RIGHTS

   • Upon receipt of full payment, I assign to the client all rights I hold in the final mixes, any production provided (including performances by me) and their performances recorded during a session.

   • With your permission, I may use short excerpts of my work provided for promotional purposes (e.g. social media or my website)

6. LIABILITY

   • I am not responsible for loss of data, files, or personal belongings.

   • I am not liable for delays or disruptions beyond reasonable control (e.g. equipment failure, power cuts, sickness, personal injuries, family emergencies)

7. DATA PROTECTION

   • I process client information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

   • Please see my Privacy Policy for details on how I collect, store, and use personal data.

8. GOVERNING LAW

   • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
